Reposted from @consent_is_rad ➸ ‘We decided to work together on this project because we deeply care about consent. We can’t ignore the recurring cases of abuse, sexual violence and lack of respect in our community, and we united because we want this to change. We want anyone involved in skateboarding and beyond to feel safe while doing something they love (or just existing). So we collected stories, opinions, resources, art and voices in a zine all about what consent means and how we can start asking more, in a way to create a safer and more enjoyable space for everyone. We want to learn and grow together, from each other, as we do when we skate.

This project is not to call people out, but to call people in. We want you to be part of this project with us and help us change our culture for the better.

100% of profits will go to @consent_is_rad with input from our collaborators to continue the hard, sometimes traumatic, sometimes harassed but ultimately community affirming and valuable #consent education, collaborative initiatives and awareness work we first began at our own launch in 2019 at @pushingboarders

It’s an honour and gives us hope to work with @doyenneskateboards @consentforbreakfast @hera_skate @giulia.saporito and also see so many other caring, creative and activated skateboarders who contributed to this big, most recent campaign as part of #saam 🦋🙏🏽❤️’
